Cut up the paint charts into 1cm squares and some triangles.
Glue the squares to the box
Colour or paint the paper plate and cut a spiral
Colour and decorate the butterfly, cocoon, caterpillar and leaf. Draw a picture of an egg on the leaf.
Cut out the butterfly, caterpillar, cocoon and leaf and stick a length of wool or string on the back.
Stick each of the cut-outs onto the spiral starting with the leaf and finishing with the butterfly.
The card I used had three folds, but you can use a card which has one fold, but you will need to find a spare piece of card to make the stand.
Cut one of the thirds off the card just leaving two halves, put to one side.
Using double sided sticky tape or glue stick three sides down, leaving one long side open.
Decorate the front with the stickers, confetti or jewels
Cut a triangle shape out of the third piece of card, fold a small flap along one edge, about 1cm deep and then sellotape to the back of the frame (see below)
Put a photo inside and give it someone you love.
